Headboard with Integrated Shelves

The project began with the client originally wanting 2 small night tables on either side of her bed.

After viewing the space, I suggested that I make her a headboard with integrated shelves instead.

Inspired by the work of Gio Ponti, the shelves provide the storage needed without cluttering her small living space and the headboard anchors the room.
